Objective

Emerson Investments commissioned Exalien Software to do a complete site redesign, handle customer requests and comments, and display live stock market quotes and news feeds.

Solution

Exalien Software is not only known for its sharp design, but also its ability to find a way to integrate technology to suit the customer's requests. An intricate stock quote system was developed to pull live stock quotes and display them to the users with a 20 minute delay. The stock quotes can also be searched so Emerson Investments' customers can quickly locate the latest details on stocks they are interested in. The quotes are pulled by AJAX so the user can continue to view market news while the quotes are pulled live. As well, a news system was developed to display up-to-date market news to the viewers in an easy to read interface.
Exalien also developed a form for Emerson Investment's clients to fill out in order to ensure the comments are directed to the proper personnel.
Emerson Investment requested a clean design that is easy to navigate, but also will catch their viewers eye. They also wanted to emphasize the pyramid as it is a symbol of what their business stands for.

Result

The end result is a site that keeps the viewer up to date with live stock quotes and news feeds all while informing them about Emerson Investments and their products and services. Users can now quickly access all of Emerson Investments' articles and newsletters which greatly increased Emerson Investments' customer base.
